As an interior designer, I’ve moved many times. Each new door I opened brought the same cold, “bare shell” reality. I realised that while I didn’t own the walls, I still deserved a sanctuary that felt like mine.

But the traditional design world offered only two extremes: spend a fortune and wait months for permanent woodwork, or live in a space that felt like a transit lounge.I knew there had to be a middle ground.

I aimed to bridge the gap between “temporary” and “soulful,” discovering rental-friendly solutions that are aesthetically pleasing, easy to install, and quick to implement.
